CLIENT ASK: First floor retail build for NBA All-Star

NBA All-Star Weekend returned to Chicago for the first time since 1988 when MJ first took flight from the free throw line. It was also my return after moving back to LA eleven months prior. To celebrate the return to the Windy City, Nike’s flagship store on Michigan Ave. was transformed to UNITE the city and all those in town to see the stars.

The photos look warm, but it was the coldest I’ve ever felt in Chicago. We dealt with constant snow which led to us removing the black laminate floor that was originally installed due to snow tracks. Looking back, this one was crazy for everyone involved and built bonds that will last forever.
